Tracing its roots back to 1918, The British
Precast Concrete Federation (BPCF) is the trade
association of precast concrete manufacturers. The main aims of the
federation are to promote precast concrete in the construction market
and to disseminate information, through a range of industry representation
and by shared knowledge, to add value to its member companies.
Members'
interests are continually developed through our team of dedicated professionals
who have extensive connections with organisations in the UK and worldwide.

Standards
The BPCF is represented on relevant BSI committees and provides
UK delegates to the CEN committees dealing with precast concrete
products. They are uniquely qualified to represent the views
of members and report back with current information on the progress
and changes to product standards and test methods. Members also recieve a discount on standards purchased through BSI.
Lobbying
The BPCF speaks with authority in advancing the precast industry's
interest with Government, the European commission, BSI and CEN,
the Health and Safety Executive and other bodies. Developments
are continuously monitored and initiatives taken to influence
policy. Membership of the Construction Products Association provides
direct access to other influential organisations.
Networking
The BPCF provides a forum for members' interaction whether
formal, informal or social. This enables fellow precast companies
to confer on the prospects and problems of the industry in a
spirit of co-operation and openness.
