Martin Clarke, Chief Executive
Martin joined British Precast as Chief Executive in July 2002. He worked for the ARC Group, now Hanson, for 18 years from 1972-1990 latterly as Business Development Director before joining the British Cement Association in 1990 as Director of Market Development. |

Colin Nessfield, Technical and Product Association Manager
Colin joined British Precast as Technical Manager from Tarmac Central, where he held the position of Special Products Technical Sales Manager. He is an elected Council member of the Institute of Concrete Technology. |

Hafiz Elhag, Sustainability and Product Association Manager
Hafiz spent three years with British Precast as a PhD student (Loughborough University) before becoming a full time member of staff. He previously worked as an architect with Danish consultants COWI at the Sultanate of Oman and has completed an MSc in Construction Management (with Distinctions) at The University of Reading. |

Matthew joined British Precast in November 2011, has a degree in Geography from Loughborough University and has experience in the Waste Management industry. |

Mike Leonard, MMA Director
Mike has spent 28 years working for some of the UK’s leading building material producers. Mike is a key player on the MMA/HBF Futures Group which seeks to offer a united view of the way to deliver the Government's agenda for more homes that people want and can afford to purchase. Mike joined the MMA in January 2008 from Laird PLC where he had been Managing Director of EWS. He has previously enjoyed a long spell with Marley Building Materials and prior to that with the fire protection specialist, Cape Boards. |

Amy Potter, Office Admin Manager
Amy joined the British Precast team in September 2008 having previously worked as a lettings negotiator for Taylors Estate Agents. Amy attended university in Wales to study Estate Management and Construction. |

Joseph Neishaboori, Marketing and Member Services Coordinator
Joseph joined British Precast in August 2011 and has a BSc in Geography from the University of Leeds. |

Stuart Crisp,Business Development Manager (CPSA)
Stuart’s background is both technical and commercial. He has a degree in civil engineering and is a chartered marketer. He also has specialist experience of the drainage and concrete industries and was most recently the Marketing Manager at Castle Cement. He joined the CPSA in 2009. |

Abdullahi Adamu Aliyu,
Engineering Doctorate Sponsored Student
Having started in October 2008, Abdullahi is working on Improving Sustainability through Product Stewardship in the Precast Concrete Industry; an Engineering Doctorate (EngD) project administered at Loughborough University in collaboration with British Precast. His research interests include Sustainability, Built-environment and Architecture. Abdullahi was part of the Design Team of the Liveable Cities Research and Consultancy Group at the University of Lincoln's School of Architecture. Previously, he worked as an Architect Assistant and Construction Supervisor with Multi-System Consultants, GlobArch Associates and Solid Builders Nigeria Ltd. |

Accounts Executive
Chris has worked for the federation since May 1999. She moved to Leicester from Northamptonshire where she worked for a national insurance company as an underwriting clerk. She also worked as a bookkeeper for family businesses. |

Norman Richards,
Environmental Consultant
Norman joined British Precast as an Environmental Consultant in March 2008, following a 33 year career in concrete block and roofing products. He holds a degree in Marine Biology, a Masters in Water Treatment / Freshwater Biology and Nebosh diploma in Health & Safety and during his long career, has been responsible for Quality, H&S and Environmental Management within Thermalite and Marley Eternit Ltd. |
