The British Precast Concrete Targets 2010 Awards dinner was held on the evening of 17th May.
The CT2010 scheme our an industry-wide programme to reduce reportable accidents and to improve health and safety. Each participating company by follows a coordinated plan of initiatives. The previous targets scheme proved to be hugely successful and reduced accident rates and lost time significantly in all participating companies, which in turn gave large monetary savings. The current 5 year scheme was launched last May and at the moment has 28 scheme members and is open to all full members of the federation.
The event was a Purple Party extravaganza with many of the guests donning purple for the occasion, the Marshalls team took the honours and won the best dressed in purple award for the evening. Everyone started the evening with Purple People Eater cocktails.
