Developing and delivering a Sustainability Strategy

The UK precast concrete industry acknowledges that it has a responsibility to improve its performance on sustainability, which is why British Precast has established an on-going research programme with Loughborough University to develop and deliver a sustainability strategy for the industry.

Dr. Ian Holton has now completed his dissertation Developing a Sector Sustainability Strategy for the UK Precast Concrete Industry and it can be downloaded here (13.6MB)

The strategy will help us to make our products more competitive in the arena of sustainable construction, and make our businesses more efficient, effective and responsible in their operation.

A visioning paper for the strategy was presented at the BIBM 2005 Congress.
