Aircrete Products Association
The Aircrete Products Association (formed some 40 years ago as the then Autoclaved Aerated Concrete Products Association) is the trade association of aircrete block manufacturers in the UK. The main aims of the APA are to promote aircrete masonry and solutions in the construction and housing market and to disseminate information, through a range of industry representation and by shared knowledge and to add value to its member companies.
The Aircrete Products Association (APA) is a trade body, and operates through four marketing committees; Principals, Health and Safety, Marketing and Technical. The Aircrete Products Association works closely with the Modern Masonry Alliance, to promote masonry solutions in the UK market.
As a member of British Precast, all our members are obliged to comply with the requirements of the British Precast Health & Safety and Sustainability Charters. The APA are also members of the European Autoclaved Aerated Concrete Association (EAACA). This provides a forum for discussion and activity on common issues.
Aircrete Products Association represents the five manufacturers of aircrete blocks who serve the majority of the market: Forterra, H+H UK Ltd, Quinn Building Products, Tarmac, Thomas Armstrong.
